حرصت الحسناوات على ارتداء القبعات والمشاركة في منافسات أجمل قبعة وأغرب تسريحة والتي تتيح لصاحبتها الفوز بسيارة «جاغوار» خلال بطولة كأس دبي العالمي للخيول التي أقيمت بمضمار “ميدان” .

نشرت صحيفه الديلي ميل البريطانيه تقرير حول الدول الاكثر بدانه في العالم .. وجائت دولة الكويت على رأس هذه القائمة يليها الولايات المتحده الامريكية .. بعدما كانت الكويت قبل عامين هي الثالث عالمياً .. وتم تحديد هذه القائمة وفق متوسط اعداد البدناء في كل بلد .. علماً عن معدل الاناث البدينات بالكويت اكثر من معدل عدد الذكور البدناء ..
The Easter egg nail design you’ve been hunting for
If you’re in need of last minute Easter manicure ideas, look no further. Inspired by the latest speckled varnish from nail polish favorite Illamasqua, we created an egg-cellent Easter nail design -- complete with grassy tips that will catch everyone’s eyes at the egg hunt.
The Easter-themed Illamasqua polishes are available in five pastel shades and are pitch perfect for Spring with or without our extra decoration. The black matte glitter design may have been inspired by rotting cardboard, but the line itself oozes Springtime sophistication with just the right dose of cute!

Materials:
Illamasqua speckled nail polish in the color of your choicea clear topcoat (we recommend a matte finish)
cellophane tape
green flocking (available from craft supply shops)
Over clean nails, swip two coats of Illamasqua speckled polish in the color of your choice. Can’t choose just one? Try one of each shade like we did!
Allow polish to dry for 30-45 minutes. It should be very dry and resilient to the touch.
Tear off a small piece of cellophane tape and lay it lightly over the nail, leaving the tip exposed. Repeat on each fingernail.
Paint the exposed end of each nail with a matte top coat such as OCC Flatline. We prefer matte to glossy because it matches the effect of the flocking better.
One by one, dip each of your fingertips into your green flocking. Tap each tip lightly to press the flocking into the wet polish for better hold. Allow to dry 2 minutes before blowing away excess flocking.
Carefully peel the tape away from each fingernail and discard.
There you have it! An easy egg-centric Easter basket manicure! Egg painting has never been so fashionable.
How to Build the Perfect Palette For You
We’ve all done it: you buy the latest eye shadow palette and think to yourself, “I’ll totally use that glittery lime green someday! You know, when I feel like switching it up.” Inevitably, the smokey browns and creams get scraped down to the metal while the ‘trendy’ shades languish in pristine condition.
Conventional palettes can be a great way to try new colors if you’re adventurous, and pre-made palettes do offer good value for beginners or for those who aren’t sure quite what they’re looking for, but custom palettes offer a truly individualized approach to your beauty regime. Most brands offer the opportunity to build your own palette.
The benefits of being able to hand-select your own shades for a custom palette are vast: you can be sure that all the shadows you select are exactly the shades and textures you need, and better yet, you aren’t wasting product—and money. When confronted by a rainbow of hues and finishes, keep the following in mind:
Consider the Quantity
Perhaps it goes without saying, but take the construction of the palette into consideration. Is there space for four shadows? Six? You’ll need to adjust accordingly. For a basic palette, you can get away with four shades: a highlight, a mid-tone for the lid, a darker crease shade, and a deep color to use as a powder liner, or for a night time smokey eye.Shade Selection
It’s great to include the basics: a shade similar to your skin tone but a bit lighter for the browbone, a brown or navy for a more natural look, and a deep brown/black shade for your smokey eye. With these, you can deepen or lighten the look as you see fit. Taupe is a great neutral that softens and blends well with almost any other color, and you can’t go wrong with a bright shimmer for the inner corner of the eye. If you’re unsure about which shades go best with your eye color, refer to color theory for complementary colors.
Texture Collection
It’s nice to include a range of textures. Rely on something with a light to medium frost texture to add brightness to the inner corner, and get glitter if you’re daring (glitter is huge right now). A shimmer shadow can be great for blending out harsh lines.
If your skin is more mature, steer away from the glitter and limit the shimmer, as both can emphasize texture in the eyelid. Try to anchor your look in matte shadows and save the sheen for an accent.
Sunglasses: The Ultimate Eye Coverup
Who needs eye makeup when you have sunglasses? No, really—wouldn’t you agree that they come out with us less for sun protection and more to protect the public from seeing our bare faces? Admit it. Sometimes it’s easier to cover up with a giant-size pair of shades than fiddle with eyeliner and shadow palettes, or worse—expose your fresh-out-of-bed eyes to the world first thing in the morning.
If you think you’re guilty of this, rest assured you’re not alone. Just look at half of Hollywood! Sunglasses are the unofficial eye makeup of the stars—a look that works just as well on women as it does on men. A naked face is instantly transformed into paparazzi fodder with a pair of oversize frames and a quick swipe of lipstick. Who knew a red carpet look was as simple as balancing a pair of sunnies on your schnoz?

The first steps toward a global change
Those who consider cosmetic testing on animals a necessity need to think again. The European Union, the alliance of nations that includes twenty-seven member states both in and around Europe, have banned not only cosmetic testing on animals, but also the sale of cosmetic products tested on animals.
Though a similar ban went into effect in 2009, it still allowed companies to outsource their production to labs that utilized animal testing. With the new law, now firmly in effect, cosmetic products sold within the EU must be completely cruelty free—that means a ban on any animal-tested products, even including products developed with ingredients that have been tested on animals.
The ban (for now) only applies to cosmetics. While animal tested products are still apparent on store shelves, they will not be restocked. Some cosmetics brands worry that the embargo could put much of Europe at a marketing disadvantage, but the EU hopes that it will inspire other countries to follow suit.
Though many will be devastated that their favorite cosmetics may soon disappear from store shelves forever, the impact it will have on the well being of animals is undeniable. What’s more, the EU has already donated millions toward research on alternate methods of cosmetic testing. The ban gives us hope that cruelty-free beauty is something that will soon be attainable for everyone.
