Mandatory Pre-Date Prep

Getting all dolled up can take hours, but when you make plans at the last minute, you have no choice but to skip some parts of your grooming routine. Which ones? Check out our guide for quick and easy methods that will cut down your prep time but still make a pretty impression.
1. Mouth
Knowing your teeth are white and your breath is fresh will boost your confidence and keep you smiling—which is the prettiest accessory you can have! Nowadays there are plenty of products that freshen and whiten instantly, but we suggest stashing a travel-size tube of Supersmile Quikee polish, which does both with just one swipe across your teeth, and you won’t be stuck with trash or gum afterward.
2. Face
Although most women believe a smoky eye or statement lip is essential for sexy date makeup, most men think less is more. So stick with a natural and simple look: a layer of waterproof mascara, a swipe of duo lip and cheek tint, and neutral eye shadows. Unlike dramatic makeup, this wont require touch-ups or get smudged.
3. Nails
Squeezing in a manicure is virtually impossible when you are running on borrowed time. But luckily the latest nail stickers don't need to dry and come in a slew of shades so you can select the right hue or print for your outfit. If you can't spare five minutes for application, just use a polish-removing towelette to make your nails look fresh and clean.
4. Hair
If you don't want to wear your hair loose, go with a ponytail. Side-swept, messy, or high, not only is the versatile style the easiest 'do to master but it is also the quickest way to mask a bad hair day. Plus, the loose ends can still give you a flirty, carefree vibe. Just be sure the style you choose matches the outfit—and in turn, the evening—you have planned.
5. Perfume
Keep a mini roller-ball of your favorite fragrance in oil form in your purse. You can apply dabs to your wrist and neck on the go and you won't have to take up limited prep time. Plus, unlike spray (which contains alcohol and can dry out your strands), you can run a drop through your mane so he’ll get a wiff of the scent every time you toss your hair.
