November is around the corner and brands have already pulled out all the stops on holiday gift-giving. This year, they're packaging tried-and-tested products into such sweet sets that no one minds splurging on duplicates.
I've already been a long-time fan of Benefit's Crescent Row fragrance collection (for the cute names, posh bottle design, and home-decor inspired packaging alone—thanks Hannah Malott!), but their latest quartet might just be my favorite yet.
Everyone from an aesthete to a perfume novice will appreciate the attention to detail on this vanity-ready eau de toilette set, and we're happy to report these holiday collectibles smell as good as they look.
2012's scent selections focus on woody, floral notes—in my eyes the perfect, earthy yet feminine combination for the season. See & be seen Sasha, a new addition to the Crescent family, struck the most dramatic olfactory chord—notes of orange flower, white peony, amber, and liquid musk combine for a rich, creamy floral. The only draw is that while adorable, these 10 mL mini sizes are outfitted with open rims instead of atomizers. Compared to its 30 mL full size, the change in application still doesn't stop us from dabbing our wrists; in fact, it even makes the act of applying perfume as posh as the product is styled to be.
