Why i Love Kate Middleton

Duchess Catherine 'Kate' Middleton has taken the world by storm (her recent trip to LA was her first time in the US!) and i love her makeup and classic style.

Kate likes to keep her makeup simple and natural. She often wears the same basic essentials (neutral shadow with a slight shimmer and nude lips) but will add small highlights as the occasion calls. Here, Kate's dark, shiny hair looks beautiful against the bright green of her dress and loose curls frame her face without being too heavy.

Opting for a ponytail instead of her usual flowing locks, Kate shows off her royal rosy cheeks. A light sweep of blush is all you need to achieve her elegantly sporty look.

In a deep purple Issa gown and sophisticated chignon hair style, Kate opts for a little more eyeliner than usual to achieve a glamorous evening look. A touch of eye shadow gives her a light smoky eye.

Kate always wears a nude lip and rarely experiments with bold colors. A subtle pinkish hue also works to get her soft, natural look.

Kate did her own makeup for the royal wedding, adding a touch of extra blush and shimmery almost lilac eyeshadow to define her eyes. And as always, a beautiful, dewy and fresh base was a defining feature.
