Has visiting with the fam’ left you stir-crazy? While mom is busy in the kitchen cooking up a holiday feast, why not follow a couple recipes of your own? We’ve cooked up a combination of the favorite nail products to mix and match, for a trio of wintery mani’s that will bring cheer to all ten of your tips or toes!
How Lovely Are Your Branches
Brush on a base coat followed by two coats of Butter London Lacquer in British Racing Green and allow to dry. For the tree branches, brush on one coat of Sephora by OPI Blasted Gold and let set until polish begins to crackle. Once dry, apply one coat of glitter nail polish in a clear base such as Wet N Wild Fast Dry Nail Color in Party of Five Glitters. Finish with a top coat and consider your tree nails trimmed!
S’more Holiday Fun
For dessert-worthy nails, top a base coat with two rich layers of Inglot Cosmetics Nail Enamel in 058. Dip into a bottle of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Nail Lacquer in Copperhead and apply in a gradient style, working from tip to the center of nails. Apply up to three coats along the tip of the nail for a sumptuous effect. Allow to dry before finishing with a speckling of white or marshmallow cream such as Essie Nail Polish in Instant Hot. Finger lickin’ goodness!
Finger Fireworks
Begin with a base coat. Top with two coats of bold black polish like Zoya Nail Polish in Raven. Finish an explosive fireworks scene with a chunky multicolored glitter like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color in In The Spotlight and a brightening gold glitter such as Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow—perfect for New Year's Eve!
