قطارات الهند وازدحام بشري هائل

في صورة مكتظة قل نظيرها بأنحاء العالم تتسم محطات مومباي بالازدحام طوال اليوم اذ يتصارع ملايين الركاب المنتظرون والوافدون الجدد الذين يحملون معهم تذاكر ذهاب فقط من الباحثين عن عمل والمشردين والشحاذين ومدمنو المخدرات والكلاب والابقار من أجل ايجاد موطيء قدم. انها تمثل شريان الحياة في المدينة فتجعل قلب الاقتصاد في مومباي يظل نابضا وهي تقل ستة ملايين شخص يوميا الى أعمالهم أو متاجرهم أو مصانعهم. ولكن الوصول بأمان للعمل بعد رحلة عبر السكك الحديدية المكتظة في مومباي مسألة ليست سهلة على الاطلاق. ويلقى نحو أربعة الاف شخص في المتوسط حتفهم سنويا في السكك الحديدية بمومباي.. اما يسحقون تحت القطارات أو يموتون صعقا بسبب خطوط الكهرباء فوق القطارات أو يقتلون أثناء ركوبهم القطارات بشكل خطير وجزء منهم يتدلى خارج العربات المكتظة عن اخرها لاستنشاق الهواء. ربما تكون أخطر وسيلة انتقال في العالم.
