Dolce&Gabbana For Unicef

Tiny little rag dolls dressed in couture looks from the runways: looks like its time for the Frimousses de Createurs 2013. Dolce&Gabbana will participate in the Unicef’s charitable initiative as per all the previous editions.
This year, too, Dolce&Gabbana joins the annual cause of Frimousses de Createurs. The fundraising event, organised by UNICEF since 2003, invites the most important fashion and design luxury brands to create dolls for auction to fundraise money for Darfur’s children.
In 2012, in Sudan, in the 5 Region of Darfur, the UNICEF has fully vaccinated 1, 177, 206 children under the age of 1 year old having raised 200,000 euros during the event Frimousses de Createurs 2012.
In its 11th edition, Frimousses de Createurs will auction all the creations at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris on December 2nd, and all the creation will be exhibited from November 25th till the 1st of December 2013 at the Petit Palais in Paris.
A one-of-a-kind-doll, this year Dolce&Gabbana’s creation wears a bright red lace dress and matching shoes, with ruby-like earrings and a beautiful crown which personifies the spirit of the collection FW13.
