Elizabeth Taylor: Iconic Beauty

Elizabeth Taylor, famous film actress, philanthropist, and overall glamour girl, passed away on March 23nd in Cedars Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles. Taylor garnered two Best Actress Academy Awards for her roles in "Butterfield 8" (1960) and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" (1966).
Throughout her career, Taylor's beauty captivated audiences: her porcelain skin, full and defined brows, and piercing blue-violet eyes shined on the silver screen. Let's take a look at a few of Elizabeth Taylor beauty moments.

In Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Taylor plays the beautiful Maggie, a wife who tries to steer her husband away from alcohol, while guilting and taunting him about their relationship. The glossy yet sheer high voltage lips combined with the revealing white dress enhance her alluring appeal.

Taylor transformed into the powerful egyptian queen Cleopatra for the 1963 epic drama, Cleopatra. Gilded skin, jet black hair, and jewel accents combined with her iconic egyptian cat eye. This look influenced and popularized eyeliner and bold lines in the 60's.

Taylor was also known for her fragrance empire. In these ads for 'White Diamonds' and 'Passion', Taylor kept her signature short curls, icy/luminous cat eyes, and perfectly defined lips--accented with diamonds, of course.
